Office Manager
Full-time Position
The Leduc Beaumont Devon Primary Care Network is a joint venture between participating local family physicians and Alberta Health Services. Our mandate is to sustain and enhance the quality, coordination, and integration of health care services in Leduc and area and to improve the quality of life for the community of patients and physicians.
The Leduc Beaumont Devon Primary Care Network is seeking a 1.0 FTE Office Manager responsible for
the overall organization and operation of the PCN office. This position reports directly to the PCN
Executive Director and works as a member of the management team (Executive Director and Clinical
Leads). The ideal candidate is a highly organized, adaptable, and efficient individual with excellent
interpersonal skills who can work effectively with clients, family physicians, and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage a small team of administrative support staff
• Initial set-up and maintenance of payroll and benefits for PCN staff
• Schedule and organize various PCN meetings and functions
• Provide administrative support to the PCN Executive Director and Network Physicians,
including taking minutes at some program committee and/or PCN board of directors meetings
• Address any day-to-day office issues promptly and efficiently, using external support as
required (i.e. contracted IT consultant, suppliers, vendors, etc.)
• Develop and manage a supportive office environment to ensure optimum staff performance
Requirements:
• Diploma in Business Administration or related post-secondary education.
• Previous experience in an office management or a senior administrative support role.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Superior human resource management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Work experience in a physician office setting or regional health authority would be an asset.
