LBD PCN Pharmacist and Certified Diabetes Educator Presented With CDA’s 2010 Volunteer of the Year Award
The Leduc Beaumont Devon Primary Care Network is proud to announce that Nandini Desai, Pharmacist and Certified Diabetes Educator with the LBD PCN, has been awarded the 2010 Volunteer of the Year Award from the Canadian Diabetes Association.
Each year, the CDA honours volunteers; either individuals or groups, who have gone above and beyond in supporting the work of the Canadian Diabetes Association.
This year, Nandini Desai was chosen as the regional recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award for Outstanding Achievement, where an individual or group whose outstanding accomplishments have made an impact in greatly advancing the Canadian Diabetes Association towards its mission and ends.
Nandini, who is a member of the South Asian Committee of CDA, received this prestigious award at a ceremony held at River Cree Resort & Casino on September 30, 2010.
